Symptoms
The tape drive T10000B is not initializing with status not Powered.
In log snapshot show us:

In Sl8500 report show us:

Cause
Problem in Power Supply, drive tray.
Solution
Replaced the Power Supply AC/DC, Drive tray with action plan below.

Remove the Power Supply
Caution – ESD Damage Potential. The power supply card contains ESD-sensitive components. Improper handling can result in permanent component damage. Make sure you follow accepted ESD precautions and procedures.
1. Disconnect the cable from the drive power connector.
Note – The drive power cable is attached to the power supply card.
2. Disconnect cables from the power supply card.
Note – The card has four cable connections for the T10000C and T10000D drives.
3. Remove five Torx T10 screws securing the card to the tray assembly.
4. Lift the power supply card out of the drive tray assembly.
Note – You must guide the drive power cable through the bulkhead opening.
5. Place the removed power supply card into an ESD-protective package or onto an ESD-qualified surface.
Replace the Power Supply
Caution – ESD Damage Potential. The power supply card contains ESD-sensitive components. Improper handling can result in permanent component damage. Make sure you follow accepted ESD precautions and procedures.
1. Install the replacement power supply:
a. Guide the power cord through the bulkhead while lowering the power supply card into the tray.
b. Position the card onto the standoffs to align with the center mounting hole.
c. Insert and thread, but do not fully tighten, the center mounting screw.
d. Insert and thread the remaining mounting screws (one at each corner), and tighten all five screws.
Note – Do not fully tighten any mounting screw until all five are threaded.
2. Connect the cable(s) to the power supply card.
3. Connect the power cable to the drive power connector.
Note – Make sure the connectors are fully seated and latched.
