Applies to:

Acme Packet 4600 - Version S-Cz7.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Customer performed an upgrade to SCZ730M2 (from nnSCZ720m5) and started to see intermittent call recording issues with NICE voice loggers.

In this intermittent scenario, RTP streams are sent to same port or channel on the NICE call logger.

Cause

This was a known defect in NICE systems which was related to the synchronization module of the VRSP redundancy and was fixed in UP48.

Solution

The parameter on the NICE VRSPs "RedundancyDisableSynchModule" should stay in the default, which is NO.

As a workaround to the above defect, this variable was set to YES, which resolved the behavior.
