Symptoms

 OCT 2016 through DEC 2016 versions of OEDA will fail at step one with the following message deploying 12C GI/DB environments

"Step 1. Validate Configuration File" of OEDA failing in SSC M7 rig with
"ERROR: Missing quorumdiskmgr in SSC nodes"

 

Changes

 Using the latest OEDA to deploy against new or Existing Oracle SuperCluster systems.

Cause

 The Quorum Disk Manager feature is not available until the Exafamily image that will be delivered in JAN 2017 QFSDP.

Solution

 In the extracted OEDA software modify the following parameter in the ../properties/es.properties file.

ENABLEQUORUMDISK=false
