Symptoms

The script to upgrade the IXP subsystem is failing because the the ISO file validation failed however the file is valid:

[root@ixp1001-1b upgrade]# misc_upgrade_subsystem.sh --iso PIC-MEDSRV-10.2.0.0.0_25.5.0-x86_64.iso
Validating ISO
>>> Error: Validation of PIC-MEDSRV-10.2.0.0.0_25.5.0-x86_64.iso FAILED
>>> Suggestion: Provide valid CD/ISO

Changes

Cause

An iso file is already mounted.

In the task log there is the following error (/var/TKLC/log/TaskMgr/tasks/1478524250.*):

1478524250(25797): tpdProvd started: Mon Nov 7 14:10:50 2016
1478524250(25797) ERROR: Could not unmount CDROM!
CMD: /bin/umount /mnt/upgrade
RC: 1!

Solution

Reboot and re-execute the script to upgrade.
