Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The following IB commands actually work on IB Switches but only fail on the nodes where exachk is running and thus failing accordingly.

# ibnetdiscover
src/query_smp.c:196; umad (DR path slid 0; dlid 0; 0,1 Attr 0x11:0) bad status 110; Connection timed out

# ibswitches
src/query_smp.c:196; umad (DR path slid 0; dlid 0; 0,1 Attr 0x11:0) bad status 110; Connection timed out

# ibhosts
src/query_smp.c:196; umad (DR path slid 0; dlid 0; 0,1 Attr 0x11:0) bad status 110; Connection timed out

Cause

For some reason the commands are unable to get the DR path mentioned in the error.

Solution

Rebooting the node resolved the issue
