SymptomsIssue started after a library reboot. Moves are getting completed on the library side and library is fully operational in SLC. However the backups are not getting completed and from EMC no tapes are being mounted Customer environment: SL3000 library partitioned. EMC Networker lost communication with the second partition - BRTOOLS : Inventory/load operation didn't work as expected. For example, while trying to inventory one media, was failing with: 8896 09/19/2016 01:46:48 PM nsrd NSR notice [Jukebox 'BRTOOLS', operation 2025]. CauseThree host/adapter WWNames are mapped to the two partitions, overlapped commands also noticed. <lun> <initiator> <initiator> SolutionSuggested to check and confirm that persistent binding is working as you need to do have persistent device names for both robot LUNs. Consider using a command similar to 'ls -laF /dev/changer' and then egrep for both st devices e.g ls -laF /dev/tape/by-id | egrep. Confirm that correct drive ordering is in use: https://community.emc.com/docs/DOC-22450
