Applies to:

Oracle Communications EAGLE (Software) - Version EAGLE 42.x and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Eagle is discarding incoming SAI messages having Network Appearance=3

Cause

This is a configuration issue.
It is missing the NA value "3 type itui in the NA table of the Eagle

Indeed if Eagle receives an MSU with a NA value which is not configured in its NA table, it will reject the message with the error message of the UIM 1333:

****CARD .1333 1215,A4 INFO UA RCVD MSG DISCARDED IP CONNECTION
NAME=assoc1 ADPTR=M3UA REASON=Invalid Network Appearance (Error Code=0x15)
DIAGNOSTIC=DATA Rcvd; NA=0x00000003

Solution

To add the NA value "3" with the command : ent-na;na=3:type=itui and check that the UIMs 1333 stop to be issued.
