Symptoms

Customers report that when attempting to load the Diagnostic Images (diags_115/6 and diags_120) on SBCs running 720m6p7 release, the SBC, the boot fails and hangs in the same point.

Below is an example of the console output on bootup:

Cause

This issue due to an interaction between the SCZ720m6p7bootloader and diagnostic image and tracked under Defect # 24789453

Solution

This issue is resolved in Acme Packet 4600/6100/6300 Diags V2.02 (Patch# 26099843)

NOTE: The alternative is to switch to using the SCZ720m6p6 bootloader.
