There have been cases where an SPU switchover happened, without any activity taking place on the SBC. You may see something like the following in the respective log.sm

After you verify that there was no activity or network issue taking place at the time, it would be wise to re-seat the MIU and SPU cards one the NN9200. The above output indicates that there may be a communication issue between the cards and the backplane. You should try and re-seat the MIU and SPU cards, to verify that both are properly latched on the NN9200. Note that the SPU and MIU cards are treated as a pair connected via a midplane. If the electrical connections between these two cards via the midplane are not well contacted, indeterminate behavior can occur as was seen in this incident. If one card needs to be re-seated, it is a good idea to re-seat both cards as follows:

- when removing: first remove the SPU card, then remove the MIU card
- when inserting: first insert the MIU card, then insert the SPU card

You then need to monitor for any future occurrence, that may indicate a hardware failure.
