In this Document
Created from <SR 3-13098719811> Applies to:Oracle Communications EAGLE (Software) - Version EAGLE 3x.x and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform. SymptomsThe customer could not log on on the Eagle and all IP links were down. CauseSome cards were rebooting regularly and could introduce noise on the IMT bus so that the HIPR2 cards rebooted, leading to the loss of the IMT buses. Solution1. Two STC cards were still generating important errors on the IMT bus: slots 5217 and 5218 : 2. Two HIPR2 cards indicated some congestion, please check this UAM after both STC cards 5217 and 5218 are replaced : eaglestp 16-07-29 20:23:03 IST EAGLE5 45.0.0-64.70.31 eaglestp 16-07-29 23:15:22 IST EAGLE5 45.0.0-64.70.31 eaglestp 16-07-29 23:15:50 IST EAGLE5 45.0.0-64.70.31 3. After replacement of the MIM cards 1211 and 4201 violation error stopped on both IMT buses. Statistics taken the 09/08/2016 and cumulated in 30 min: Card: H'00ce slot 5217 Type=STC
Rx CRC Error 1836 Pri Ctrl Rx Err 704 Violation Error 5748 Card: H'00cf slot=5218 Type=STC Rx CRC Error 6024 Pri Ctrl Rx Err 754 Violation Error 878
4. I would suggest to monitor every day for 2 weeks the obits to check the card 1217 is not rebooting with the module “pmtc_mgr.c” (rtrv-obit:loc=<active MASP>:num=10 to get the latest 10 x Obits)
