Symptoms

The Robot Assembly inoperative during the cartridge mount.

Move tests via SLConsole between Slot to Slot and Slot to Cap worked normally.

Move test between Drive to Slot and Drive to CAP was failing and leaving the Robot inoperative.

 

Cause

The Robot is failing with PUT cartridges on Drives:

error 0.0.5.0.10 5069 "Director - putResponse() servo mech reach event 5069 at 1286 tachs, 1184 mils"
error 0.0.0.0.0 3313 "(request id = HOST/0x1025da68) IfmMove::doPut(): move back to source from (LMRC) 0,2,10,5 failed, going inop by default"
error 0.0.0.0.0 3322 "(request id = HOST/0x1025da68) IfmMove::doPut() to (LMRC) 0,2,10,5 : cartridge in hand, going inop"
error 0.0.0.0.0 3322 "(request id = HOST/0x1025da68) IfmMove::commonMoveCommand(): PUT request of tape BA0129L3 from (LMRC) 0,1,1,9 to (LMRC) 0,2,10,5 failed:"

error 0.0.6.0.5 5069 "Director - putResponse() servo mech reach event 5069 at 1277 tachs, 1175 mils"

Solution

Adjustments and replacement of broken Bezels.

PS: Before fixing the bezels, we replaced Robot Assembly and RLC card and got same error.
