Solution Type Problem Resolution Sure Solution 2183510.1 : Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) - Unrelated SBR Migration Plans Getting 'Prepared' on Preparing 1 set of plans
In this Document
Applies to:Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) - Version DSR 7.1.0 to DSR 7.1.2 [Release DSR 7.0]Information in this document applies to any platform. SymptomsIf there are more than 1 set of “SBR Data Migration Plans” of the same type (Mating/Un-Mating/Re-Mating), any admin action performed on a selected plan from SBR Database Reconfiguration GUI, will be applied to all of the plans of the same type currently configured. If the attempted admin action is valid for the selected plan, it will be executed for all the plans regardless of their individual admin states. Two (2) migration plans of different types can be executed independently. This problem does not affect resizing plans, which can always be executed independently, nor does it affect SBR Data Migration Plans of different types.
There is no harm in executing multiple plans of the same type simultaneously, any button click on the SBR Reconfiguration Status screen with a plan selected, will apply to all SBR Data Migration Plans of that same type. This means that the decision to accelerate migration, or force complete migration, for example, will be applied to all plans of that type simultaneously Changes
CauseThere is bug tracking this issue : Bug 24336524 - Unrelated SBR Migration Plans getting 'Prepared' on Preparing 1 set of plans SolutionIf independent control of a single SBR Data Migration Plan is desired, the user must create only one plan of that type (Mating/Un-Mating/Re-Mating), execute it to completion, and remove the plan prior to preparing another plan of that same type.
