Applies to:

Oracle Communications EAGLE (Hardware) - Version EPAP 15.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When performing an EPAP upgrade, the customer observed alarms on a disk of the MASP B when running the syscheck command :

Running modules in class disk...
* meta: FAILURE:: MAJOR::3000000000000002 -- Server Internal Disk Error
* meta: FAILURE:: md status check failed.
* meta: FAILURE:: MAJOR::3000000000000002 -- Server Internal Disk Error
* meta: FAILURE:: md configuration check failed.
Active md config doesn't match /etc/raidtab.
One or more module in class "disk" FAILED

Cause

This is because the "accept upgrade" step had not been performed yet

During the accept upgrade phase, the disk A is mirrored onto the disk B.
The alarm here was about a configuration issue :

* meta: FAILURE:: md configuration check failed
meta: Number of active devices for md1 does not match expected.

Solution

Finish the upgrade to clear the alarms
