Applies to:

Oracle Communications EAGLE (Software) - Version EAGLE 43.x and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

From time to time, one or several SCCP cards go in DDB (Dynamic DataBase) inconsistency status (Alarm = UAM 0911)

Cause

The customer is experiencing regular congestion on some links and one or  a few SCCP cards are going into DDB status.
The SCCP cards recover the DDB inconsistency by themselves after a while (several minutes)
=> The customer is hitting the known bug # 19114598

The bug description says :

SCCP card(s) in the system may report DDB inconsistent alarm (UAM 911) if the particular SCCP card(s) (but not all SCCP cards in the system) is routing traffic via a particular congested link.
The scenario may cause the mated appl checksums on SCCP card(s) to go inconsistent and DDB audit to raise alarm.
So normally the DDB alarm is seen on SCCP card(s) adjacent to a congested link the system.

Solution

Ignore the DDB alarm, which does not impact the traffic, and fix the congestion issue, pending an Eagle upgrade.
