Symptoms

The drives are getting messages RewindUnload

Cartridges are sticking on drives

The ASR is opening the SR with FSC(1107): Drive not unloaded for fetch - on rewindUnload

Changes

The customer replaced the Ethernet Switches

Cause

Configuration issue on switch port.

Solution

Check the Log SnapShot in SPLAT for the message below:

In Summary: Library port eth0 is connected at 100 Mbps Half Duplex

In WEB Display: 3983 "Pli socket closed without cancel", exception=java.net.SocketException: Connection reset queryCartrid root default 25629601

The ACS is Disconnected.

Asked the customer to configure the Switch port to Auto-Negotiate, Full Duplex and Reboot the library by controller.
