UIM 1169 "SCCP rcvd inv TCAP portion" is not generated when Eagle receives malformed TCAP packets

Cause

This is a normal behavior, there is no fault
 
The "fake" message which has been used to generate the UIM 1169 still has a good OTID and a good OpCode. Moreover the length is smaller than 273 bytes.
Therefore, the MAP screening function does not have any issue to apply as all needed fields are correct.
The UIM 1169 is generated by the MAP screening function, it is not made to identify a wrong protocol coding in a TCAP packet.
Eagle is working as designed.
 

Solution

To create the UIM 1169, the wrong coding of the packet must impact one of the parameters checked by the GSM MAP screening function
