Starting with release 7.1.x customers using PCA application can configure SBR databases and SBR databases reconfiguration plans. The software prevents a combined total of more than 7 active sessions SBR databases and sessions SBR database reconfiguration plans.

An attempt to go beyond this limit of 7, by preparing another session SBR database or session SBR database reconfiguration plan, will result in Critical Alarm 19902 and the Prepare operation will fail to transition to normal status.

The problem doesn't affect databases or reconfiguration plans that have already been successful prepared.

Cause

This is related to Bug 23637783 - PDRA is not supporting more than 7 session databases.

Solution

To correct this limitation, some internal parameters must be modified after a fresh install or an upgrade. Please contact Support to implement the solution.

The problem can be fixed by a loader file by increasing the following limits in the ComAgtConfigParams table.

Max Registered RP value : 8 RPs per Server is sufficient for PCA.

Max Registered RU value : This needs to be increased to 50 (ComAgent max supported value)

Maximum HA Resources value : This needs to be increased to (Max RP + Max RU)
