Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

 Enhanced PDU meter shows error for input

Example

PDU-A
Input0 : Current 2.91A/Voltage 1.0V  <<<<<<<<<<
Input1 : Current 1.78A/Voltage 227.5V
Input2 : Current 0.00A/Voltage 0.0V  <<<<<<<<<<
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
PDU-B
Input0 : Current 0.00A/Voltage 0.0V  <<<<<<<<<<
Input1 : Current 1.96A/Voltage 232.8V
Input2 : Current 2.85A/Voltage 1.0V  <<<<<<<<<
See below Images
 PDU-A
 Error shows on PDU-A
PDU-B
Error shows on PDU-B
Issue : Current / Voltage showing zero and sometimes a non-zero value with the Voltage square in "RED" color and state with a red "X" when nothing is connected
Cause
 The phase connected to PDU plug is not correct
Solution
Verify that voltage being applied at the PDU plug is the correct phasing.
See the below picture for correct phase connection to PDU input Plug
Input to PDU Plug
Expected: Current and Voltage values should be ZERO '0' when there is no equipment connected and the Voltage square should not be "RED" and the state should be a green tick.
NOTE : To check PDU Plug Phase connection, You may require data center electrician and field engineer.
