Symptoms

When running the command "show version boot" on the Session Border Controller (SBC), the bootloader stages 1-3 report: 'info not available'. i.e.

ACMEPACKET# show version boot

Bootloader Info
---------------
Stage 1 info not available
Stage 2 info not available
Stage 3 info not available

Cause

This typically indicates an issue reading the bootloader file or the file does not exist. The bootloader file is:

/boot/bootloader

Solution

Uploading and installing the bootloader file on the SBC will resolve the issue. More information on bootloaders can be found at:
