Applies to:

Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) - Version DSR 7.0 to DSR 7.2.0 [Release DSR 7.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When the "Launch IDIH" is used from DSR SOAM GUI or access the "ProTrace" by directly login to IDIH, the IDIH will try to load all the traces, but it is failing:

IDIH-7015: Loading list of traces failed.

Changes

Cause

This error occurs due to sync issue between DSR SOAM and IDIH apps while IDIH comes up.

Solution

Workaround

Open a SR mentionning this KM reference.

Steps must be executed by Oracle TAC only.

Work Around to fix this issue: Re-sync the Managed object (reference data) by following step.

On the IDIH app sever as tekelec user, run the below commands:

  1. Change directory:
  2. cd ~/apps/trace-refdata-adapter
  3. Flushes synced Managed objects:
    ant clean.data
  4. re-syncs Managed objects from SOAM:
    ant app.enable

After running the above commands ProTrace listing with empty trace/data should resolved.

Fix

The Bug 23338135 address this issue and it is fixed in 7.3 release.
