Symptoms

When admin connects to Active Session Border Controller (SBC) using ssh the login process can show error messages like in the following example:

$ ssh user@192.168.10.3
user@192.168.10.3's password:

xzDecompressBufToAllocBuf [844]: (20480/3516) unknown error 5
xzDecompressBufToAllocBuf [844]: (10240/1636) unknown error 5
xzDecompressBufToAllocBuf [844]: (40960/7088) unknown error 5

Note: The login completes fine and admin is able to work with SBC normally.

Cause

High Availability (HA) was disabled and Standby SBC was Out Of Service.

Solution

Enable HA and verify if it solves the issue.

1. delete the config on standby

2. acquire config from primary to copy over config to standby

3. reboot standby to pair up HA
