Application of the JAN 2016 QFSDP

Cause

Bug 22886768 - JAN 2016 QFSDP install_smu installing osc-domcreate on 1.x systems

The variations in the SuperCluster identifications caused install_smu to incorrectly identify the version of the system.

Solution

Please note that this Problem Solution applies to ONLY v 1.x systems. Do not follow the procedures in this note for version 2.x systems. The solution applies to all logical domains with the problem condition.

How to verify your system install version:

If you do not have ssc/identification service nor oes/id service and your SuperCluster is a T4-4 or early T5-8 SPARC SuperCluster then you can consider yourself 1.0 version and the solution applies

svcprop -p configuration/build oes/id
ssc-2.1.7

Resolution:

pkg uninstall osc-domcreate
