Symptoms

SL8500 OP panel Login fails. Below is the login failure messages:

Invalid response received from Library for the request error.
No session, Invalid session, invalid session Not supplied.
PLI authentication Required.

Changes

Replaced the OP panel on the library. Delivered OP Panel Part Number is 419617904. Libraries runs FRS_8.01 and FRS_8.50.

Cause

SL Console version was 2.86.01 which runs from OP Panel. 8.01 requires a minimum SLC version of 5.80 and 8.36 requires a minimum code level of 6.51.

FRS_5.80+ is REQUIRED for this SL8500 release.

(User authentication will fail with previous versions of SLC.)

Solution

Upgraded SL Console version to 6.60.
