Applies to:

Oracle Communications EAGLE (Hardware) - Version EAGLE 3x.x and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The MIM card 2217 is issuing regularly both modules "rtdu_app.c line" and "hmrt_ls.c'

Cause

Normally, the module "rtdu_app.c" indicates a faulty card.
This module is about a diagnostic ran on the card. The IMT address of the destination card, for the outbound MSU during the process of the CRC calculation, has been detected as corrupted.

In this particular case every night at 03:47:20 there was some transmission errors on the link 2217,B3.

SUERM Link Failure      16-04-25 03:47:20.555
And so on...

The module HMRT_LS is about an issue on the route selection, which is coherent with the fact that we lose the link further to the important errors rate (ERM) :

Report Date:16-04-13   Time:03:47:20

I don't know if the link 2217,B3 on the far end side could be moved to another connection in the DDF, because this is the only link having this trouble.

Solution

Please contact the far end, there must be something which is starting every night at that exact time (03:47 am) and is creating some perturbations on the link, like an equipment parasiting the line.
