CauseThe volume expansion can experience this error because the existing volume has a segment size of 512 KB. The error occurs because the existing volume running out of available cache during the volume expansion. Bug 15566266 : SUNBT6846506 25X0 VOLUME EXPANSION FAILS SolutionThere is no fix for this issue. The workaround for this issue is to modify the segment size of the volume to provide sufficient cache during Dynamic volume expansion (DVE) or Dynamic capacity expansion (DCE). NOTE: If you are expanding a volume group and experiences this error, then we need to change the segment size of all volumes in the volume group. If the error occurs while volume expansion then change the segment size of the original volume.
