Today, we replaced two SL8500 library OP panels, but failed login.
Delivered OP Panel Part Number is 419617904. Libraries runs FRS_8.01 and FRS_8.50.
FE reported SL Console version is 2.86.01 which runs from OP Panel.
FE confirmed PC version SL Console connection is Okay. Problem only with OP Panel login.

New Install of Hardware.

Cause

Down level firmware.

Solution

SLC build version 2.86.01 is several years old, 8.01 requires a minimum SLC version of 5.80 and 8.36 requires a minimum code level of 6.51.

(User authentication will fail with previous versions of SLC.)
