Symptoms
Issue:
Sometimes; when trying to recreate IPSM2 in E5MS Eagle discovery; the operation becomes unsuccessful.
Also; when using the IPSM2; the send command option does not work in E5MS Configuration Management.
Impact:
IPSM2 is secondary IPSM configuration.
IPSM1 works fine. However; IPSM2 is required for redundancy just in case first IPSM gets faulty at Eagle end.
This is a random issue and does not occur all the time.
Specially; if E5MS application is restarted; this issue is cleared.
Changes
Cause
The Eagle update graphics and Eagle Resync gets failed resulting in no more new connections to the Eagle.
Following bug was created for this issue:
BUG 21621522 - SR: Logins to the STP are failing to connect
Solution
Workaround:
Restart the E5-MS service
Solution:
Solution is to upgrade to OCEEMS 46.2
