Information in this document applies to any platform.

This is an L1400 library with ICM Module to Host.
Media Agent is Windows 2008R2.

Customer is able to enter ICM Web Interface. See attached picture L1400M_SS__TT9001575_.PNG (In this picture all Link and Activity leds look on/ green)

However, if attempting to click on any other page besides the default view, customer is prompted for a username/password which is UNKNOWN
(default user: root and the default password: password did not work).

Customer has no RJ-11 adaptor or cable to attach to ICM Serial Port.

Symptoms

Media Agent Does Not Recognize Medium Changer

Both host and OS are not seeing the robot (media changer) but do see all of the drives.

Cause

Bad hardware.

Solution

Replace L1400 router with new fibre card, L1400 now visible to Windows server.
