Symptoms

xDR builder installation on the IXP sub-system is failing with the error "unable to create connection to Oracle", in the Protocol Upgrade application when installing a new mediation sub-system.

Cause

The step is needed just to create the datawarehouse (DWS) credentials in the wallet and sync to the mediation servers present in the sub-system.

The wallet procedure script is reporting the following error:

ERROR: Credential not correct for wallet. Exiting ?

Solution

Execute the procedure described in from the maintenance guide chapter Modify Database Password (chapter 7.16 in E60679 Revision 2).

If password is not known open a SR.
