Symptoms

A large weekly volume of file transfers always left behind 4-5 files. Files left behind were always random.

Cause

Java versions lower than 1.8 may cause undesirable behaviors with SFT.

Solution

Update to the latest version of Java. Once Java has been updated, please make sure that /var/opt/asrmanager/configuration/asr.conf reflects only the newly installed version of Java.

1) Stop ASR Manager: /opt/asrmanager/bin/asr stop

2) Update /var/opt/asrmanager/configuration/asr.conf

3) Restart ASR Manager: /opt/asrmanager/bin/asr start
