Applies to:

Oracle Communications Performance Intelligence Center (PIC) Software - Version 9.0.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

analyze_subsystem.sh script on IMF subsystem is returning below errors:

14:56:55: Checking A-Node server
14:56:58: >>> Error: Connection to x.y.z.t failed or A-Node is not installed on that machine
14:56:58: >>> Suggestion: Check whether cfguser@x.y.z.t is reachable
14:56:58: >>> Suggestion: Check if A-Node address is correct and A-Node application is installed there
14:56:58: >>> Suggestion: Run healthcheck again (3 s timeout for connection elapsed)
14:56:58: Checking version of the nsp
14:57:01: >>> Error: Connection to a.b.c.d failed or nsp is not installed on that machine
14:57:01: >>> Suggestion: Check whether root@a.b.c.d is reachable
14:57:01: >>> Suggestion: Check if nsp address is correct and "nsp application/Oracle" is installed there
14:57:01: >>> Suggestion: Run healthcheck again (3 s timeout for connection elapsed)
14:57:01: >>> Error: 2 test(s) failed!

Cause

id_rsa file inside the /export/home/cfguser/.ssh/ directory of IMF server is empty.

The id_rsa file inside the /export/home/cfguser/.ssh/ of IMF should match to the id_rsa file of NSP-Oracle server (path=/usr/TKLC/nsp/.ssh/).

Solution

Copy the content of id_rsa file from NSP-Oracle server (path=/usr/TKLC/nsp/.ssh/) and populated the same in the id_rsa file of problematic IMF server (path=/export/home/cfguser/.ssh/).

Now re execute the analyze_subsystem.sh script on IMF subsystem & the issue should be fixed:

17:03:12: Checking A-Node server
17:03:17: Connection to A-Node x.y.z.t was successful
17:03:17: A-Node version is: 9.0.4-7.7.0
17:03:17: Checking version of the nsp
17:03:21: Connection to nsp a.b.c.d was successful
17:03:21: nsp version is: 9.0.4-5.2.0
17:03:21: nsp was installed on: 2016-04-11 12:20:37 (1 days 4 hours ago)
