Following alarms are being sent from Eagle on PIC:

Cause

Following alarms are reported on EAGLE during this issue:

6135.0084 ** DLK 1115,A OAMHC IP Connection Unavailable ****16-03-23 04:01:41****
6381.0084 ** DLK 1113,A OAMHC IP Connection Unavailable ****16-03-23 06:00:31****

The problem on PIC side is that above mentioned Eagle alarms are forwarded to the NSP but the NSP does not interpret them (MO_OID not found). These alarms should not be reaching PIC.

The following justifies how the issue is related to this specific customer: Alarm on PIC coincides with the OAM IP Connection Unavailable Alarm for cards 1113 and 1115.

Solution

To implement the solution, please upgrade Eagle to version 46.2.0-65.53.1 or above.
