Solution Type Problem Resolution Sure Solution 2124797.1 : Apply Change on IXP Subsystem is Failing With Error: "Stream Can't Write; Duplicate Key in Table 'Stream'"
In this Document
Created from <SR 3-12473246611> Applies to:Oracle Communications Performance Intelligence Center (PIC) Software - Version 4.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform. SymptomsCCM Users are not able to apply changes on a given IXP subsystem and getting the following error message: "Failed to apply changes because of the following errors : Stream Can't write; duplicate key in table 'Stream'"
Changes
CauseDuring the manual creation of a new DFP, CCM user created 2 output streams having exactly the same name. As the stream name is a primary key on the "Stream" table of the IXP IDB database, the IXP doesn't accept the new configuration and consequently returns the above described error during the "Apply Changes". When checking the configuration of the new DFP under "CCM -> Distribution", the newly created DFP is having 2 output streams having exactly the same name. SolutionGo to "CCM -> Distribution" menu and identify the DFP having duplicate stream name. Once identified, edit the DFP configuration and change the streams' names in a way that duplication is eliminated. Attachments This solution has no attachment |
