SymptomsClient command df -h shows the total space for a share is less than quota space assigned. Assigned quota for share is 200G: zfs.get.all.out:exalogic/local/test/tests02 quota 200G but the client show a total size as 13G: client-sn-priv:/export/test/tests02 13G 5.5G 7.1G 44% /u01 CauseThere is a project level quota set. In this case the project level quota was 200G and there were many shares underneath that had the same 200G quotas so as the individual shares used up space there was less space available for each share.
Also, if a share has a quota set to include snapshots, and snapshots are then done and then subsequently some data is removed from the share - but the snapshots remain - the 'df' output from a client will show less than the quota until the snapshots that have the deleted data are removed. The other way would be to not include snapshots (refquota) and then the df output is fine.
SolutionIncrease the project level quota to match the sum of the quotas of the underlying share quotas or remove the project level quota entirely. Attachments This solution has no attachment |
