Symptoms
Connections between DSR sides failed to come up on their own and were recovered when are manually disabled/enabled.
The DSRs go through SCTP handshake but eventually send ABORTS from both sides
Cause
- Connections are configured as "Initiator and Responder" mode at both ends
- Same connect timer configured at both ends
Solution
Two possible workardound exist:
- Configure different connect timer at both sites
- Configure the connection such that one side as Initiator and another side as Responder mode.
This case is related to the bug:19107156 fixed in DSR 7.0.
