SymptomsTape Drive Is Seen By SL150 But Not Detected By The Host OS Or The SAN switch. The tape drive LED is ON in only one port. CauseTape drive faulty. Tape drive GBIC(SFP) faulty. SolutionReboot the drive and check the status. Check Fibre Channel cable connectivity, remove and reconnect the FC cable. Confirm the FC cable status by connecting to a different port on the SAN switch. If the issue is with the GBIC (SFC) or drive then replace the drive.
