CRC Applications Access- We have been getting calls and emails regarding the CRC applications and having issues connecting to it. This is the website used to to get encryption keys and one time library passwords.

Symptoms

Secure Connection Failed

The connection to crcapplications.us.oracle.com was interrupted while the page was loading.

"The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."

Cause

Browser Issue

Solution

Please do the following steps to correct, until the website owner orders a new certificate.

1. Open Browser , verify Firefox 37 or greater before issuing these steps.

2. In URL box, type in the following "about:config".

3. Click the "I'll be careful, I promise" button.

4. In the page search box, search for "tls".

5. Click on the key "security.tls.insecure_fallback_hosts".

6. Type "crcapplications.us.oracle.com" in the box provided.

7. If it does not work immediately, close browser and ensure that it is not running.

8. Connect to https://crcapplications.us.oracle.com/keyswebapp/ to verify.
