SymptomsStoragetek SL3000 will not connect to a Brocade FC16-32, FC16-48, FC16-64, FC8-32E, FC8-48E, Brocade 6510, Brocade 6505, Brocade 6520, or Brocade 7840 Fibre Channel Switch ChangesBrocade dropped FL support in the 6510 and other switches. CauseFL_Ports are not supported on Brocade FC16-32, FC16-48, FC16-64, FC8-32E, FC8-48E, Brocade 6510, Brocade 6505, Brocade 6520, or Brocade 7840 platforms. SolutionYou need you to set soft addressing on the SL3000. Hard addressing will not work. Use the fibreconfig print command and make sure that hard addressing is disabled: fibreConfig print
