SymptomsInvalid response received from library for request CauseThe ip address of the tape library cannot ping. FE tried to connect their laptop to isolate the problem. Initial problem was due to customer connect to port 1A and also 2B was not configured correctly with missing ip address. SL3000> network print 2A IP Address: N/A Added ip address SL3000> network print 2A IP Address: N/A Ping still failed SL3000> ping xxx.101.211.1 Configure to ping from laptop, ping still failed. SL3000> ping xxx.168.10.20 SL3000> network gateway xxx.101.211.1 requestId 7 Error Number 3005 Done Failure Count 1 Success Count 0 SolutionThe fix was to configure port 2B on HBC card and to upgrade local SLC version to 6.51.
