Symptoms

After downloading the support bundle from the BUI, it became corrupted and unable to extract.

Or

When support bundle failed to upload or upload cancelled, the support bundle would disappear from the BUI/CLI after a short while.

Cause

This is a known issue.

 

When support bundle failed to upload or cancelled, it will remove itself after about 10 minutes.

If the support bundle is being download while it is removed, the support bundle would ended up corrupted.

 

This is due to the following bug.

BUG 21118323 - sendbundle failure/cancelled led to deletion of created bundle

 

Solution

Please upgrade to 2013.06.05.4.0 or later for the fix.

 

To workaround the issue:  Download another support bundle after the upload has failed or been cancelled.
