In this Document
Created from <SR 3-8292001457> Applies to:Sun ZFS Storage 7120 - Version All Versions and laterSun ZFS Storage 7420 - Version All Versions and later Sun ZFS Storage 7320 - Version All Versions and later Sun Storage 7110 Unified Storage System - Version All Versions and later Sun Storage 7210 Unified Storage System - Version All Versions and later 7000 Appliance OS (Fishworks) SymptomsDestroying the old/previous software package from CLI does not work. When destroying via the BUI, the status shows "deleting" but after some time the status again changes to "previous".
Unable to clean up old firmware package in ZFS and below error messages are reported:
Error2 : "cannot destroy 'system/ak-nas-2011.04.24.1.0_1-1.8/install': filesystem has children use '-r' to destroy the following datasets:system/ak-nas-2011.04.24.1.0_1-1.8/install/svc "/usr/lib/ak/update/up_delete: line 76: destroy of system/ak-nas-2011.04.24.1.0_1-1.8/install failed:"
CausePackage is already deleted from Solaris, but not refreshed from AKD
SolutionPerform an AKD (Appliance Kit Daemon) restart that will allow deletion of the package from aksh. Customer can perform a "Maintenance System restart" to restart the management interface. NOTE: The BUI/CLI will not be accessible until the AKD restart completes.
If issue is not fixed, you will need to engage Oracle Support, by opening a Service Request, so that Oracle Support Services can provide confirmation of this issue and then carry out the appropriate activities to resolve the issue.
For Oracle Support Engineer: Restart AKD from the appliance shell
