Symptoms

While using the utility ttImportFromOracle 3.0+ version to migrate data from Oracle database 10g to TimesTen database 11.2.2.8.4, it fails with the following error message:


Error: OCI function 'OCIStmtExecute(plsqlBlock)' returned OCI_ERROR (ORA-06550: line 3625, column 13:
PLS-00201: identifier 'CONTINUE' must be declared<=======================================‘CONTINUE’ not available
ORA-06550: line 3625, column 13:

Cause

Utility ttImportFromOracle 3.0+ version does not support Oracle 10g. Utility ttImportFromOracle 3.0+ wass developed base on Oracle Database 11g.
 

Solution

To resolve this issue, include the command line option -plsql 0 as mentioned below


./ttImportFromOracle -oraconn ttuser/oracle@ttorcl -plsql 0 -typemap 1 -compression 2 -prefix pf
