Symptoms

 1D01 errors in VTCS log.

Cause

1D01 errors in VTCS log. Possibly started when T10000D drives were introduced in the environment.

Solution

1D01 errors can be the result of dropped frames occurring. If it is affecting more than 1 drive then look for a SAN problem between the VSM and the switch. See bug 22199626 and SR 3-1160745581.

Troubleshooting of the problem involves forcing a drive dump when the drive is taken offline by VTCS. The drive dump will show dropped frames in it. (invalidated frames that the drive will drop)
