Symptoms

After Upgrading The KMA Software The OKM Database Backup Take Longer To Complete.

Cause

With each new version of the OKM software, there are enhancements and additional audit events which may lead to increased OKM Database backup times.

Solution

One workaround to improve on OKM Database backup times is to reduce the size of the Audit Event Logs, so there is less data to backup.

The log sizes can be managed from within the OKM Console Manager GUI:

From the Security Parameters List screen, click the Modify button. The Modify Security Parameters screen is displayed.

Where you can modify the Audit log size limits, and the retention Audit log lifetime.
