Symptoms
It is not possible to upload builder to IXP subsystem because nsp_primary reachability:
- In NSP GUI error message is:
Exception in thread "main" com.steleus.mbean.nfm.NFMException: Connection error to server: nsp_prima
- In IxpManage process log:

Cause
IXP is not able to reach NSP JMX.
Solution
Try these actions, in that order until it is resolved:
- Check that "ping nsp_primary" command is working on master IXP and that is resolving to actual NSP WL1 IP. Do not replace nsp_primary with actual NSP IP as this is testing host/IP resolution as well as reachability.
- Check that jmxd is running on NSP WL1:
service jmxd status
- Check that nfm port is open between IXP and NSP (default 41090)
- Restart jmxd on NSP WL1
