Customer was unable to vary the CAPs online in SL8500 Lib 2,3 and 4 in a 5 complex environment after upgrading library firmware to 8.50 from 8.36. In this Document

CAP = Cartridge Access Port SymptomsCustomer was unable to vary the CAPs online in SL8500 Lib 2,3 and 4 in a 5 library complex environment after upgrading library firmware to 8.50 from 8.36.. Customer was able to vary CAPs online in Library's 1 and 5. ChangesUpgraded SL8500 firmware from 8.36 to 8.50 Cause8.50 firmware bug that does not send back the correct CAP status to the host. From SLConsole, it appears that the CAP's are all online but in reality CAP status being sent back to the host is not operational.
