Symptoms

MP failed to Upgrade to 7.0.1, passes the verifyUpgrade script but when you initiate upgrade it fails.

Cause

MP failed to Upgrade to 7.0.1, passes the verifyUpgrade script but when you initiate upgrade it fails.

Solution

Remove the "export UPGRADE_CHROOT=/mnt/ugchroot" line from /var/TKLC/log/upgrade.info and remove the /mnt/ugchroot directory if it exists. This will get around the "Sysimage Chroot Detected!" error.’

The following suggested steps cleared the issue and upgrade was attempted successfully without the need to re-IPM the blade
