Symptoms

System powered down, unable to power on again.

After multiple attempts to powercycle. Same fault occurs

 

SC Alert: Host System has Reset
NOV 06 15:24:14 ERROR: No functional CPUs available
NOV 06 15:24:14 FATAL: No cpus in bootset
NOV 06 15:24:16 FATAL: The HOST Processor has a configuration error, forcing a power-down

sc> showfaults -v
No failures found in System

 

 

Cause

The HOST processor has a configuration issue
The HOST processor is failed

Solution

Recommended Action Plan: Replace system board for faulted CPU's
