Applies to:

Oracle Communications EAGLE (Software) - Version ELAP 10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Eagle ELAP APPB-A shows up a warning that disk space is low.

Cause

Directory /etc/lvm/archive is being fulfilled with files.

Solution

As a workaround to this problem, we can make the server ‘standby’ and then we can delete these files from the server and if needed, we can make the server ‘active’ again.
Please note: DISABLE the LSMS connection before failover from ACTIVE ELAP and ENABLE the LSMS connection from STANDBY ELAP.
Bug 19098969 is already opened for the similar case.
This issue was reported in ELAP 10.0 and is fixed by ELAP 10.1.
Please contact your PM inside Oracle to plan to upgrade your Elaps.
