Cause
Drive electronic module could be faulty.
Solution
Action Plan :
-- Check the cable connectivity, if possible unplug and re-plug the SAS cable.
-- Change the SAS HBA port then, reboot & re-scan the drive.
-- Replace the SAS cable.
-- If possible, reboot the server and check whether the drive is detected on BIOS.
-- If yes, re-configure the drive on Operating System.
-- If no, the tape drive needs to be replaced.
In this case tape drive replacement resolved the issue.
